Carter

Also known to Teah as "Sir Carter", "Carter Giant", or "Curious Carter". Now that this little guy is a toddler, he's joining in on the family blog and it's about time! He's 15 months old and what a great age. He has just recently learned how to use a spoon by himself and I swear he understands every word I say. He as a few words of his own too, including "ba ba" and something that sounds like "quack quack" when he sees a duck (in person, stuffed, or in a picture).

His favorite thing to do is to pretend to cook - maybe he'll be a chef someday. He LOVES to pull out my pots and pans and proceed to place numerous different pieces of pretend food in them. Then he'll walk over to the counter and keep pointing up until I get him one of my big stirring spoons. He then will open the bottom drawer of the stove to get out a lid (usually all of the lids). Finally, he'll sit and stir his food and pretend to taste it for forever (well, forever in the time of a 15 month old, which is 30-60 minutes).

He sleeps 14 hours a day and is generally good natured and happy. He has a few bad habits to break, like tackling his sister or stealing her toys because he likes her to chase him (not at all because he actually wants to play with the toy). So, all in all, he's a keeper!
